Who is the teaching for?

Our teaching sessions are designed to meet the needs of a wide range of staff, including care assistants, senior carers, registered nurses, volunteers, managers, and all health and social care professionals. We tailor every session to the specific roles and requirements of your team, whether in care homes, nursing homes, domiciliary care, or the third sector.

We offer a clear flat-fee pricing model:

The fee is fixed regardless of the number of attendees or the complexity of the topic.

Where are your sessions delivered?

We deliver in-person sessions across the Midlands and surrounding areas. We can also provide virtual sessions across the country, if that meets the needs of your people better.

Is the content evidence-based?

Every course is legally and professionally compliant, aligned with national frameworks such as CQC, NICE, and Skills for Care. Content is regularly updated to remain accessible, relevant, and reflective of best practice.

Who delivers the teaching?

Teaching is led by Helen Shepherd, a Registered Nurse and experienced lecturer with a background in hospice care and healthcare education. Helen is passionate about adult learning and holds formal teaching qualifications. She believes that education should be empowering, engaging, and centered around the learner. Her sessions are always adapted to meet the needs of the group—ensuring that no one feels left out, overwhelmed, or under-stimulated. At the heart of her teaching is a simple goal: to help others grow in confidence and knowledge so they can give the very best care.
